Areas of support
How I Support Children, Adolescents, Young People (under 24 years old), and Families
Families turn to me for support with a wide range of emotional and behavioural challenges (listed below). I also receive referrals from centres, school SENCOs, and other mental health professionals. Where appropriate—and always with consent—I collaborate closely with these professionals to ensure a joined-up approach to care.
Some children and adolescents benefit from just a few sessions during times of transition, such as starting a new school or preparing to leave for university. Others may need longer-term treatment. I also work closely with parents to help them understand what kind of support is most suitable for their child and family. Together, we explore practical strategies and tailored approaches.
Areas I work with include:
Anxiety
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Relationship difficulties (family, siblings, friendships)
School-based challenges (concentration, academic pressure, bullying)
Low self-esteem
Depression
Suicidal thoughts
Emotional outbursts and regulation
Behavioural difficulties
Identity development
Relational trauma
Enuresis (bedwetting)
